Long gone are the days when it was absolutely necessary for musicians to be in the same room at the same time in order to record. Thanks to modern technology, remote collaborations have become a common practice.
Stephanie Angelini – who resides in Melbourne, Australia – and Vince Tomas from Los Angeles, Calif. recently parented a transatlantic effort in the form of “Midnight Blue.” Produced by acclaimed Australia-based songwriter and multi-faceted musician Joe Mandica and dominated by a stirring dance groove and honed hooks, “Midnight Blue” features all the proper markings of a club hit.
Stephanie and Vince’s vocals are trained and classy, and the way they alternate their pieces gushes with glamour and glitz. Stitched tight with lively orchestration and relatable lyrics of the love and yearning for one’s partner, “Midnight Blue” captures Stephanie and Vince working on a parallel wavelength.
