Joe Bonamassa, “Lonesome Christmas” (2014): One Track Mind

Tired of the same ol’ Christmas songs played the same way? Blues guitarist extraordinaire Joe Bonamassa’s got a Yuletide treat for you.

“Lonesome Christmas” is a brand new Bonamassa original with a Holiday theme. You’ve got your classic blues shuffle, a generous helping of a sunburst Les Paul, ol’ Joe singing Christmas cheer and a heaping helping a horns to spike this blues egg nog with a shot of RnB.

The recording of the tune in the studio was captured in the video above, and from the looks of it, a fun time was had by all in creating this Kevin Shirley-produced track.
