The rad organ/drums duo Scott Amendola and Wil Blades have assembled a funky, tasty album that can finally make their music available to the record buying public but need a little help in getting it out. As we told ya’ back in June, a PledgeMusic project was launched to fund Amendola vs. Blades’ Greatest Hits and the expiration date is August 9, around 7pm Eastern time.
Here’s a tantalizing taste of what these boys do to get down on a record made in front of a Oakland crowd:
As is typical of Amendola and Blades though, anything goes and so more than just good, greasy soul-jazz is in store; expect almost anything from these two rangy musicians.
