Something Else! Reviews’ own Kit O’Toole once again brings you all the latest from this weekend’s Fest for Beatles Fans in Chicago, highlighted by her appearance in a pair of interesting panel discussions.
Yesterday, she discussed “35 Years of Beatlefan Magazine” amongst a group of longtime Beatlefan writers and editors — taking a look back at our magazine’s history, and some of their most memorable stories. Today (Saturday, August 10, 2013), she’ll join in a discussion called “We’re Talkin’ About Girls Now: Women as Beatles Historians,” where a panel of female Beatles authors and researchers will discuss their role in the fandom — and the knowledge they’ve contributed.
You can get the latest via Kit’s Twitter and Instagram feeds. Follow her at @beatlesgeek.
O’Toole writes a bi-weekly column for Something Else! called “Deep Beatles,” which explores lesser-known gems from the history of the Fab Four — both together and as a solo artists.
