On June 14th, guitarist Pat Metheny will release What’s It All About, an all-acoustic album that’s about as far as you can get, technologically speaking, from last year’s Orchestrion. This incredibly intimate recording features Pat on baritone and 42-string Pikasso guitars, covering a handful of his favorite pop and rock tunes.
Yes, I did say “rock.” “Pipeline,” by the Chantays. I’m not kidding.
