The Beach Boys’ touring edition, long led by Mike Love, will be regaining some key members from its 2012 reunion lineup for a series of newly announced concert dates.

Original members Al Jardine and David Marks will also take part in a July 5, 2014 concert at Long Island, New York’s Jones Beach with Love and the Beach Boys, the first time they’ve shared the stage since the 2012 reunion dates ended. Love has continued touring with a group that includes Bruce Johnston and John Cowsill in the interim, while Brian Wilson split off to work on his own.

Meanwhile, Jeff Foskett has also become a regular fixture in the band — replacing Love’s son Christian, who has left to pursue solo ventures. Foskett is a long-time Wilson collaborator who also recorded and toured with the Beach Boys in support of 2012’s That’s Why God Made The Radio.

“This summer I’m particularly excited for the Jones Beach show, which is such a terrific, iconic venue,” Love says. “It will be very special to share the stage with some old friends and bandmates, Al Jardine and David Marks. Bruce and I are really happy to have Jeffrey Foskett rejoin the band— he’s a great vocalist and musician and has a long history with The Beach Boys.”

Jardine and Marks recently joined Love on stage when he was recognized by the Society of Singers with the Ella Award. Foskett memorably worked with Wilson on the his Grammy award-winning solo version of the Beach Boys’ SMiLE.
