Dickson, Tennessee is the headquarters of Chad Bradford, a gifted singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who like a lot of musicians, honed his chops playing in cover bands but grew tired of performing other people’s material and had the courage to strike out on his own.
Although Chad has amassed an avid fan base by posting his tunes on the internet, he is currently shopping for a publisher and record label. His most recent effort, “We Are As One” is so beautiful and sincere that it brings tears to the eyes and sends chills up the spine. A midtempo ballad, magnified by ravishing melodies and Chad’s emotionally-imbued phrasing, the heart-tugging song articulates a love pure and trusting.
Soulful vocals, united with a catchy pop edge provide “We Are As One” with a cozy intimacy, while resonant keyboard work and crisp guitar chords add further color to the show. The track starts off on moody footing before folding into a penetrating break that maximizes the feelings Chad channels.
Not only does “We Are As One” sport an instantly attractive sound, but the lyrics are moving as well, resulting in a song sparkling with universal appeal. There’s no question you’ll be hearing much more from Chad in the near future. Here’s a guy who makes music for all the right reasons and has the talent to boot.
