The Crimson ProjeKCt’s Kiev show has been reset for later this summer, after civil unrest forced a postponement of tonight’s appearance. The date had special significance for Tony Levin, who has family connections to Ukraine.

“We are glad to announce that the show in Kiev has been rescheduled to July 10th and is now confirmed,” band members report. “All the tickets bought for the original date (March 6th) will remain valid for the July show.”

The Crimson ProjeKCt features both Adrian Belew’s Power Trio and Levin’s Stick Men. Levin and Stick Men drummer Pat Mastelotto are part of a newly retooled edition of King Crimson. Belew was a member of Robert Fripp’s seminal prog outfit from 1981 until this newest lineup was announced.

The ProjeKCt is rounded out by Tobias Ralph and Julie Slick, both part of Belew’s trio; as well as Markus Reuter from the Stick Men. Their current tour dates continue across Europe and into Australia through July.
