Can’t make the European leg of Peter Gabriel’s “Back to Front” tour in celebration of the 25th anniversary of So? Here’s something to tide you over: A download of a never-before-heard bonus track from the era.
Gabriel and Co. worked on a song called “Courage” throughout the sessions for the So project, but for whatever reason it ultimately didn’t make the final songlist. The tune then lay dormant until producers started looking around for additional content for the anniversary box set.
Of course, the immersion version of that reissue would set you back as much as $100. How about a chance to hear “Courage” for free, just for signing up to receive Gabriel’s regular mailing list.
This version of “Courage” has been overseen by Steve Osborne, who dubbed it “The Hexidecimal Mix.” The download will only be available until midnight on Friday, October 4, 2013.
