Something Else! sneak peek: Björk – bastards (2012)

Steam a track from bastards, Björk’s forthcoming remix of her recent album Biophilia.

Death Grips’ reimaginging of “Sacrifice” is part of a series of tracks that Björk has handed over during the past year to superstar mixers and producers — from Matthew Herbert to Hudson Mohawke.

The compilation of their work, personally curated by Björk, is due on November 20, 2012. bastards will by available in CD, vinyl and digital download formats through One Little Indian.

Björk has also teamed up with director Andrew Thomas Huang and Los Angeles’ Museum of Contemporary Arts to fashion her latest eye-popping video, for “Mutual Core” from Biophilia, seen above.

Biophilia, released in 2011, was Björk’s eighth solo studio album, and her first since 2007’s Volta. It was partially recorded on an iPad, and was said to be the first ever album issued as a series of apps.
