Did you miss the Foo Fighters at the 1995 Reading Festival? Us, too. Luckily, the band is streaming that set online for those who’d like to take a ride in the way-back machine.

Check it out — complete with retro-cool cassette interactive feature — at Reading.foofighters.com.

Dave Grohl and Co. are now up to their seventh studio album, the celebrated Wasting Light, with plans to go into the studio for a new release shortly. Back in July of 1995, their self-titled debut had been out just a month. The Foos had played their initial show in California in February of that year, and were making their initial appearance at the UK festival, as well.

The lineup for this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals will be announced on Monday.

Here’s a look back at our review of the Foo Fighters’ ‘Wasting Light.’ Click through the title for complete review …

FOO FIGHTERS – WASTING LIGHT (2011): This is a big album. Foo Fighters blew up years ago, making themselves a household name, but for the first time it feels like maybe they’ve created something beyond themselves, something so surprisingly good that it should be almost a crime to dislike. Maybe that’s an overstatement, but this feels like reinvention of what the Foo Fighters are, and a triumphant one at that.
