I tell you, they just don’t make singles like this anymore!
Streaked with slinky surf and spy rhythms, compounded by a forceful garage rock finish, “Jungle Beat” bubbles over with the kind of exuberance rock and roll music was originally built on, while “Don’t Know Where To Start” wiggles and jiggles with fuzzy distortion and plucky hooks buzzing with intensity.
Dean Hoth, lead singer and bassist of the Eddies, shares lead vocals with Bart Mendoza from the Shambles on “Jungle Beat” and on “Don’t Know Where To Start,” Mark Le Gallez of the Risk joins Dean on lead vocals. Talk about a trio of talent!
Hopefully, the Eddies will soon be releasing an album. But until that happens, give a listen to these two snapping, crackling and popping tunes, which promise to garner endless spins on CD players throughout the world!
