Half Notes: Travis – Singles (2004)

Radiohead-lite band Travis couldn’t have named it more plainly. While having only four albums, at the time, seemed a bit premature to be releasing a best-of, it was nice in that you got at least a few tracks from each album, rather than “that one big single” from each. You know how that goes. Here, you got a good chunk of both of the group’s best albums, The Man Who and The Invisible Band, plus a few other tracks from the other two that no one seems to know about. There was also a DVD of the videos and some live stuff, plus commentary and other goodies. Seemed a better deal than the CD, if you were looking for something to watch.
